Taylor Engel has lived in the Florida Keys for over 19 years, moving to Tavernier at a young age she was able to grow up living the keys lifestyle. Whether it was fishing, snorkeling, paddle boarding or wake boarding she was always on the water

After graduating from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers with a Bachelors in Resort and Hospitality Management, she continued to work as a Manager at Bokampers Sports Bar and Grill. During this time Taylor obtained her Real Estate License as well as her All Lines Insurance Adjusters License. After some time, she moved to the East coast of Florida to Jupiter where she was able to work at Keller Williams and Jetty’s Waterfront restaurant by Jupiter Lighthouse.

Taylor learned a lot of skills throughout her Hospitality journey : Communication with all different levels, motivation in strenuous times, problem solving when things aren’t going as planned, helping with decision-making for clients, Interpersonal skills, and forward planning are all what help to make a successful person.

In 2020 Taylor decided to make the move back to Tavernier and begin her Real Estate Journey with her mother, Jamie Engel, an incredibly accomplished realtor of 17 years. Jamie is the Team Leader for The Florida Keys Home Team which works from Key Largo to Key West. Now, Taylor is the buyers specialist, property manager, and pet enthusiast for the Florida Keys Home Team.

Her goal is to match her buyers to the perfect island retreat or primary residence that will meet their needs. The Florida Keys Home Team works with a great group of vendors to help throughout every step of the transaction and beyond closing. Some of the main reasons to use a local and professional realtor in the Florida Keys is their knowledge of conservation easements, the moratorium (2023), Tier designations for vacant parcels, and the various rental stipulations by island and area.
